2011 Jeep Wrangler Spy Shots and Owners Manual

Motor City has a new round of spy shots for the 2011 Jeep Wrangler (JK) taken directly for the Jeep Owner’s Manual. The new photos feature more detail that the first images of the 2011 Wrangler interior we posted up a few weeks ago. The new Wrangler will still be powered by the anemic 3.8L (mini van) engine, but at least you can play with the optional touch screen DVD and Navigation System while you’re waiting for the Jeep to accelerate. Spy Photos of the 2011 Jeep Wrangler Interior

A minor refresh is in store for the 70th Anniversary 2011 Jeep Wrangler. The exterior and powertrain of Jeep’s flagship 4×4 will go unchanged till the 2012 model year. However, the 2011 Jeep Wrangler is sporting an all new interior.

The 2007-10 Jeep Wranglers suffered from an all plastic interior and under preforming 3.8L (mini van) engine. Jeep is fixing the interior and ergonomics of the Wrangler by picking up where the 2006 TJ Wrangler took off. Continue reading

Jeep & Dodge tease concepts headed to Moab Easter Jeep Safari

For years Jeep has brought their biggest and baddest concepts to the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab.  Last year Jeep brought the Lower Forty… a custom Wrangler with 40″ tires and zero lift. This year will be no different, as we expect to see Chrysler ‘s Dodge and Jeep brands unveil four prototype vehicles.  When the dust settles in Moab this is what we expect to see:

Jeep Wrangler J7: Takes off where the J8 Military vehicle left off. Only this year’s version is packing four doors and a HEMI. Look for styling clue that might give an indication to the next generation 70th Anniversary Wrangler expected in 2011. Continue reading
