Thousands of Bees Hold Cop Hostage for 3 Hours

A swarm of bees held Officer Brandon Jenkins hostage in his car for over three hours as tens of thousands of the bees escaped from a disabled truck.

The incident occurred on Tuesday morning near Raleigh, North Carolina when the policeman responded to calls about a vehicle stopped on the side of the road. The truck, as it turned out, was transporting 60 beehives to fertilize some orchards. Perhaps they mistook the Dodge Charger for a Super Bee after losing their queen? The Mustang wrestled away the top spot on AutoTrader’s new car list for the first time since the Chevrolet reintroduce the Camaro last year. Motor City Muscle Cars first reported the Paddock had closed and was looking to restructure. Now the muscle cars parts company and it assets are due to be auctioned off. Avon, IN  May 22, 2010 — The down economy has claimed another victim—The Paddock, a mainstay in the muscle car parts business for over 40 years. Indianapolis-based Key Auctioneers (www.KeyAuctioneers.com) announced today that it will auction the company’s parts inventory, showroom items, collectibles, vehicles, and equipment at the company’s 60,000-square-foot Knightstown facility.

Muscle Car parts retailer The Paddock closes

Long time muscle car parts retailer The Paddock has apparently closed its doors for good? The retailer closed April 30th and had been closed for well over a month. Vendors to the company have noted that things have been amiss for sometime, and that the company had been slow to pay. The Paddock had been supplying restoration parts and accessories since 1965 for Mustang, Camaro, Dodge Charger, Chevelle, MOPAR, Challenger, Ford trucks, and Chevrolet truck.
