Ford decision to put the legendary 5.0 liter engine back in the 2011 Mustang GT is finnaly paying off. The Mustang wrestled away the top spot on AutoTrader’s new car list for the first time since the Chevrolet reintroduce the Camaro last year. Since may of 2009 the Camaro had reigned supreme on both AutoTrader’s board and dealership lots.

Paddock mails bankruptcy letter to creditors

Motor City first reported that the muscle car parts mail order giant The Paddock closed its doors on April 30th, and had since filed for bankruptcy. We have recently obtained a copy of the letter they have sent to their creditors.

From May 2009 to May 2010, Camaro posted 99,872 total sales, outselling its closest competitor, the Ford Mustang, by nearly 20,000 vehicles. Camaro continues to bring new customers to Chevrolet dealerships – at home and overseas.

In the U.S., the 2010 Camaro’s first full month of sales was May, 2009. Camaro took the lead in monthly share of segment a month later and led the sales race for 11 of the last 12 months.
